LADdesign at A+D Museum's "COME IN:DTLA"

Happy Spring, everyone! We recently celebrated the new location opening of the A+D Museum, now in the Arts District in DTLA!  LADdesign was invited to exhibit work for the opening reception highlighting designers who find inspiration in DTLA.  This latest installment in their COME IN! exhibition series presents what is on the minds and in the studios of the cutting edge, innovative designers of Los Angeles. The exhibit is on view until June 23, 2016.

Our "30 Days in LA" artwork with the Solé Bicycle designed for the festival

We exhibited artwork we created over the past two years for Red Bull Sound Select's month long music festivals every November. In small music venues across Los Angeles, concerts and events take place every night of the month. The programming of the music through the festival is curated to be a diverse spectrum of musical styles. From Punk and Alternative, to Hip Hop and Indie Rock, the concert series gives Los Angelenos a unique opportunity to see rising stars and much larger artists in very intimate settings. LADdesign created the artwork for the festivals to reflect the diversity of the musical artists in each poster for 2014 and 2015. The main festival artwork uses the graphic element of freeways as a visual symbol for the way music ties our diverse community together culturally, as well as representing that the festival geographically takes place in neighborhoods across our vast city.
